Rubber grass tiles, Is it Safe?

These grass tiles are an environmentally friendly floor covering, because of them being a recycled and rebuilt product made from non-toxic and low VOC polyurethane bonding raw materials.

No bad smells unlike cheaper alternatives. We only use Binder (adhesive) direct from Germany in our production to prevent this. Cheap binder equals strong rubber smell.

Each tile measures 1m x 1m and has a total thickness of 40mm, consisting of:

15mm recycled SBR rubber base for shock absorption

25mm artificial turf top layer for a soft, natural grass feel

A top surface of durable, UV-stabilised artificial grass

6. Do these tiles require a sub-base?

While they can be laid on solid, flat surfaces (e.g., concrete or decking), we recommend a compacted sub-base (MOT type 1 + sharp sand layer) for installations on soil or grass.

7. Are the tiles easy to clean?

Yes! Maintenance is simple:

Brush or sweep regularly to remove leaves and debris

Hose down with water or use a mild soap solution for deeper cleaning

Avoid using high-pressure washers or harsh chemicals on the turf

8. Can I use furniture or gym equipment on these tiles?
